In the SERHS Rivoli Rambla Hotel the most important thing is the opinion of our guests.

“I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights last week. The hotel is perfectly located in the centre of Barcelona, andi within easy walking ditance of Barcelona's "Old Town" -- the historic centre. Also very nearby are the famous "La Boqiera" market, the "Placa Catalunya" -- and, well so much! Every member of staff I met could not have been more helpful, and my bedroom was large with a good sized bathroom.I would be happy to pay areturn visit (Incidentally, there is a large "Carrefour" supermarket opposite the hotel -- very useful!)”

“This hotel was very well placed for a short stay in Barcelona. Very clean room but décor felt very tired, especially the bathroom. We had a room overlooking Las Ramblas and the sound-proofing was poor, to the point that my husband had to buy some ear plugs to block out the sound of delivery and cleaning vehicles throughout the night. Our room was on the 4th floor and we could still feel the vibrations from the underground trains.”

“ The Rivoli Ramblas hotel is in an excellent location, close to everything.
Rooms are nicely decorated and comfortable, staff is very helpful breakfast at 15 euros is good value for money. In short for this rate you will not find a better 4 star hotel in the area as Rivoli”

“ Stayed in this hotel post cruise for two nights. Took a cab right from the port to the front door of the hotel. We were traveling with friends and this was their first time to Barcelona so the location of this hotel was excellent.
We arrived early morning so we didn't expect our rooms to be ready and David at reception welcomed us and we were able to store our luggage until the rooms were ready.
Our room was at the back of the hotel, plenty of natural light and quiet. The only critique of our room is the bathroom could have used a little updating. The shower was a bathtub/shower combi with only a partial glass partition. The partition didn't keep water from splashing out onto the floor so we had to do a little mopping up after each shower. Other than that, the room was fine.
Our friends had a balcony room overlooking Las Ramblas. Of course they had a great view compared to our room however they did say it was noisy into the wee hours of the morning.
We had breakfast included with our room and it was very good. Read some of the past reviews that were critical of the breakfast offered and I wonder what breakfast they were having compared to what we experienced. Really liked the Nespresso coffee machine available for self-service. Great coffee.
We were amused by the elevators as they are very small (only one person with two pieces of luggage could fit) and the four of us without any luggage would set off the over the weight limit alarm, so one of us always had to use the stairs, and we're not big guys.
You really can't beat the location of this hotel, everything is close by. Front desk was always helpful and willing to offer suggestions. I'd definitely stay here again.
