Liceu Theatre

Just 450 meters from the SERHS Rivoli Rambla hotel in Barcelona is the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, better known as El Liceo, the oldest active theater in Barcelona. It is used especially as an opera theater and is considered one of the most important in the world.

The building has been rebuilt three times throughout its history because of fires and other incidents. At the moment operas of Verdi, Wagner, Bellini, Mozart are represented, works of dance like "The Swan Lake" and concerts of different great artists.

The Liceo is five minutes walk from our hotel on the Ramblas in Barcelona. If you like opera and dance, none of the works represented there will leave you indifferent.
